On September 26th, Mr. Zhang Wencai, Vice President of ADBC, attended the Sustainable Development Forum 2021 and shared in-depth opinions on the topic of "Poverty Eradication and Common Prosperity". Mr. Zhang Wencai shared the insights and good practices of ADBC in supporting poverty alleviation from the aspects of serving the national strategy, seeking development for the people, connecting the government and the market, strengthening systematic governance. He stressed that ADBC will continue to strengthen its function as policy bank, practice inclusive development, emphasize comprehensive support and enhance systematic assistance, fully committing to serving rural revitalization and contributing to the common prosperity.

The Sustainable Development Forum is co-hosted by the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the Center for International Knowledge on Development. As a series of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of China's restoration of its legitimate seat in the United Nations, the forum was held both online and offline with the theme of "People-Centered Sustainable Development". Around 500 participants from 31 countries and regions and 26 international organizations attended the forum.
